Description

Fully equipped used sailboat and preparation for offshore cruising & ocean sailing. Boat taken out of water 10 months a year maintained by professional . Engine completely dismantled and revised this year (invoices available).

There are two diesel tanks so the range with engine is very wide ( depending of course of the speed of that engine) .If you run 2000 per minute the consumption is very little

.The automatic pilot works very well but it is consuming electricity and the wind generator and siolar panel are not enough to cover the consumption of electricity specilly when the weather is difficult.

This pilot has perfectly driven the boat in very agitated waters around Spain under gale force wind and very steep waves.

The transmission is made not by cables but by metal « biellette » (I don’t know the word in english)

This boat has been taken out of the water 11 to 10 months every year.For exemple I spent four days to clean it from salt this year in Mantoudi where it was hoisted out of water on August 11 th 2020 .

The seal of the sail drive has been changed when the engine was taken away for review.The picture shows it was not necessary but you never know before !

Because of extreme care hull and rigg has been exposed only 30 months since it was built

However some some reason the bow truster doesnot work .Idem for the radar and the electronic wind indicator.This is why the price has been lowered.

The 1.5 meter draft is very interesting because it gives access to berths ans small harbours closed to standard drafts.

On the other hand it is difficult to hold the spinaker because the steering blade gets out of water and the the boat can’t be controlled without releasing spinaker.

The sock of the spi allows it to stiffle it easily.

However most of the time I have handeled this boat single handed so the spi is almost new.

There are three reefs an main sail so I used the try sail only once and I realised that the boat is more difficult to control than with storm gib and three reefs ( it is very hard to tack with try sail.)

The windlass 1500 w.has been changed recently

When steering alone the command of windlass from cockpit allows easy back approach to quay

The wire command is working perfectly.The expensive radio command with chain meter does not work under my limited technical knowledge,but may be you will do better!

The ultra marine anchor is a marvel which holds perfectly.100 of stainless steel 10 mm chain.

It gives safety in any kind of wind.

On anchor the boat had a tendancy to move against the wind so every time possible it is much more comfortable to have aft tied on land with mooring rope .

I have hundred meters of 14 mm rope on a wheel which I attach under the boom for easy and quick release

I also have two 50 meters reels of flat mooring for bow docking and aft anchoring usefull for docking in very shallow water .

The advantages of the two hulls and foam ,besides unsinkability, is better insolation both for temperature and sound

The boat has diesel heating and air conditionning

I must admit I have not been using those for 10 years in Greece .They might have to be reviewed.

One thing I designed is the back ladder which can be transformed in a gangway allowing us to embark or disbark even with heavy surge

Difficult to write all the improvements I managed on this boat.For example : 10 mm stainless marine steel high resistance hooks ,6 of them , for lifelines 2 on exit of lounge toward cockpit ,2 in the middle of cockpit, 2 behind wheel .So that in bad weather the pilot is always attached with life line.

The diesel generator of 10 HP can always be started even if power does not allow to start main engine .The latter can start from generator power.

Special connexions are possible to unite all 6 batteries

There is also a navtex receiver for meteo and naval exercises alarms .Position of boat is shown on record.The machine prints all that so the log book is easy to keep.

There is also a wire command of pilot from inside lounge.There is also the possibility to command pilot from integrated system but in fact I have not been using it since I came alone from around Spain and Portugal through Gibraltar to southern France.

Practically I use the application of naval maps on my telephone and I correct the auto pilot accordingly.
