About Boats-Houses

A houseboat or houseboat is a carefully designed house that is fully habitable, but placed not on a foundation, but on a pontoon. The floating platform for such a dwelling can be made of different materials, such as concrete, iron or wood.
Some houseboats are not equipped with motors, so they are moored to one place. Other ships have engines, thanks to which long cruises can be made in such houses. Motors can be either stationary or outboard.

Boats-houses are:

  • Single-hull
  • Multihull
