Escalade is a new generation power yacht using a Trimonoran hull for the first time with every detail designed especially for her. The engineer and naval architecture by Mr. Jelle Bilkert designed his dream hull for AnwigemA BV. A safer hull with more space, which would be economical to use. It was a tremendous job and it resulted in an innovative design.
The concept design delivered a comfortable hull with great stability and safety, less water resistance, little draft and lots of deck space for professional and/or recreational use. When used on a motor vessel, the hull proved to save a considerable amount of fuel, which is an important improvement and a necessity nowadays.
Escalade has four large and comfortable cabins with their own bathrooms and a crew area for two people. The garage has enough space for the tender boat and two jet skis. There is also a transom lid that can open and slide down to the water surface to transform into a swimming platform.
On the main deck, there is a large raised saloon and large sunbeds each side of Escalade. The main saloon consists of a raised living area, open galley with dinner table and comfortable lounge area with control room. There is a unique jacuzzi with transparent floor, the flybridge stairs go underneath and give a magical transition effect to the area. The Flybridge has a control section, galley, dinner table, bar table and large sunbeds which are perfect for guests to enjoy the 360-degree sea view.
Escalade uses am hydraulic propulsion system to power the propellers. The designers feel that the benefit of this system is that the engine and propellers can be placed different locations. The Trimonoran Hull also provides 30% more space than a mono hull. The larger beam provides a better function system. Baran Akalin & Aniwgema believe that these features are a sign of the ‘future of the yacht design’.
