The Maxi 95 is a cleverly designed family cruiser from the board of Pelle Petersen. They are easily handled, with good performance, and have a light and airy interior with two double sleeping cabins separate from the main accommodation. There is plenty of stowage throughout and the cockpit is deep and safe with plenty of room for all the family.
Accommodations
The accommodation offers up to six berths. There are two sleeping cabins separate from the main accommodation. In the forecabin, V berth with infill and stowage under. Opening hatch to deck. In saloon, two settee berths. The starboard berth converts to a double. Saloon table with engine under. Galley to port.
Two burner gimballed gas cooker with grill and oven. Stainless steel sink with manually pumped water supply. 113 litre freshwater capacity. Cool box. Separate heads compartment to starboard with marine toilet and washbasin. There is a useful stowage area under the cockpit behind the companionway.

Masthead rigged sloop. Anodised aluminium mast and boom. Stainless steel standing rigging. Terylene running rigging. Slab reefing to mainsail with stackpack and lazy jacks. Furling headsail system. Some lines led aft to cockpit.

Located under the saloon table, Volvo Penta MD11 three-cylinder 28hp diesel engine. Electric start. Freshwater cooled via heat exchanger. Shaft drive to two bladed folding propeller. Single lever control. 113 litre fuel capacity giving approximately 270-mile range at 6 knot cruising speed. Maximum speed under power 7 knots.
