A dry cargo ship is a sea or river-based ship, which is adapted for the transportation of bulk (dry) cargo. It can be grains, wood chips, mineral fertilizers. In addition, a dry cargo ship can carry international standard containers. Cargoes are packed in different ways – they can be in boxes, barrels, bales and so on.

Vessels are equipped with booms and cranes, which are necessary for loading and unloading operations. Dry cargo ships have two decks, as well as large cargo holds.
