A tanker is a self-propelled cargo vessel that is used to transport liquid bulk cargo. As a rule, oil, liquefied natural gas, as well as products of the chemical industry are transported on a tanker. In order to transport other liquid products, there is a separate category of tankers. They can transport wine, drinking water, oils and so on.
Tankers can have different sizes, as well as carrying capacity – it can range from 150 tons to 500 thousand tons.
