1974 Stonehorse 23, Origionaly Designed by Sam Crocker. Edey & Duff boat co in Massachusetts built 150 of these fiberglass hulls in throughout the 70’s - 80’s and they have gained quite a following around New England.
Engine
The inboard engine was replaced with a regenerative electric propulsion system in 2020. The 5kw motor / 6kW lead acid battery bank will run 3 hrs @ 5kts 1.5 hrs at 7 kts. The regenerative function has enabled us to sail for 4 consecutive days around the bay and return to our home berth with a full battery.
Cabin
The cabin has a V-berth sleeping configuration and seating for 2. Kitchenette consisting of a sink with water pump, ice chest, wood burning stove, and shelving. 2 chairs with a table and storage locker beneath.
Storage
There is plenty of storage onboard: in the forward berth below, a cabinet and drawer under the cabin table, under the sink, under one of the chairs, and 2 large storage compartments aft.
Recent haulout at KKMI in September 2022 for new dripless shaft seal, bottom paint, anodes, and Prop Speed.

These boats are classics and have a following. There's even a Facebook page for owners.
