Meticulously maintained and upgraded 1985 O’Day 28. Sails great, with 28’ length overall, 10’ beam, and 4.5’ draft that is easy to fit into shallower waters.
Has newer mainsail, older but well maintained genoa, and a full suite of electronics to help you sail - including chartplotter, wind indicator, depth sounder, autopilot, AIS (receive), and radio.
Engine is a 10hp Universal M12 diesel that has had many refurbishments, including rebuilt exhaust elbow, new impeller pump, new coolant pump, new belt, and an acid washed and repainted heat exchanger.
Includes all manuals in both paper and electronically scanned in forms, as well as a detailed spreadsheet of information, contacts, resources, and maintenance log.
This boat has been very fun to sail around and since ownership in 2019 has been to Martha’s Vineyard, Provincetown, and Acadia with no problems. Selling as I am upgrading to a larger boat but will be sad to see her go.
