The Port of Cullera has an original characteristic that distinguishes it from all the others on the Valencian coast: it is not a sea port, but a river port. Indeed, Cullera is located on the banks of the Júcar, approximately a mile and a half from the sea. The entrance is easily located, about two miles south of Cape Cullera, through the fortified hermitage located on top of a hill. The mouth is protected by two breakwaters perpendicular to the coast, duly marked with their green and red lights; but the entrance must only be made during the day, since the route to the Nautical Club is not illuminated. The Club has water and electricity connections, a slipway, a ramp for small boats, a 5-ton crane and a social building with bar, restaurant and showers.
